Healing Starts When Your Body Feels Safe

Let Your Body Lead the Way Back to Wholeness
Víðir Hallgrímsson
Hi, I’m Víðir.
I help people integrate trauma and reconnect with themselves using the Triple Vagal Method, other body based tools, and self-understanding tools like Human Design and the Gene Keys.
My approach is gentle, respectful, and based on what helps people come back to themselves—to feel more whole.
I’ve had to heal from a lot of trauma my self so I understand how it is to deal with trauma and the process of healing.
If you feel ready to begin, I’d love to guide you.

Testimonials

From the very first session, I felt progress I hadn’t experienced in years of other therapies.
Vidir has an incredible sensitivity to energy work that I’ve rarely seen.
I didn’t just start to awaken parts of my body that had been completely numb; I also gained a much deeper sense of body awareness—more softness, more ability to listen to subtle layers within myself.

Melina - Yoga Teacher

Vidir has achieved what no therapist before him has done in over 10 years: the struggle for survival of all my trauma parts, which had dominated me so painfully for decades, became quieter and quieter, so that I was able to recognize the truth about my being.
I don't know any therapist who has such a deep understanding of trauma as Vidir and who can lead one out of the "hell of trauma" in such a gentle and decisive way.

Christiana

“I have found Vidir a deeply attuned therapist, displaying a great sensitivity, profound psychological understanding and true compassion for the human condition.
The work was guided in such a detailed and careful way, that I was able to move through several layers of psychological and energetic new openings, resulting in many important new developments in both my relationships as well as my professional life.
I feel very grateful to have been able to have come across someone working with such dedication and purity of heart.”

Safira - Therapist and bodyworker

"I whole heartedly recommend Vidir's TVM online sessions.
The sessions I had so far, are working transformative on many levels.
On the physical level the body feels so much softer, easier and more fit. There are less physical complaints/pains and it is much easier to 'hear' the reactions of the body to circumstances.
On emotional/mental level I feel more resilience and openness to others and experiences.
Vidir has been guiding me competently and gently way. He explains and points clearly, relaxed and skillfully.”

The Triple Vagal Method in Context
The Triple Vagal Method (TVM) is a manual technique for stimulating the vagus nerve and increasing oxytocin release.
This shifts the body from a defensive state toward balance.
In these sessions, TVM is combined with:
Somatic experiencing and rebuilding healthy boundaries
Use of silence and minimal intervention
Human Design and Gene Keys analysis
Energy healing and energy field sensing
Recognition of transgenerational trauma
Polyvagal-based psychosomatic interpretation
Step by step

Mapping your nervous system
In our first session, we’ll go through your answers and begin treatment. This helps me understand how your nervous system responds and where it needs support.
Creating your treatment plan
Using what we’ve learned from your story and your body’s feedback, I’ll design a treatment plan. Then, we’ll continue the work step by step.

Faqs
In TVM sessions, we work with the vagus nerve and fascia by stimulating specific points on the body to produce oxytocin.
This “feel-good” hormone both supports healing and gently brings unresolved trauma or blocks to the surface.
Based on your personal history, we choose the points most effective for you.
In online TVM sessions, I guide you to press the points yourself.
Because of my hypersensitivity, I can sense if your placement is correct and whether you’re pressing too hard or too softly.
A big benefit of this format is that you learn to feel yourself more — and that’s one of the main goals of TVM.
For this reason, I sometimes use the same approach in my in-person sessions too.
It’s different for everyone, depending on your goals and where you are in your body and trauma recovery.
Some people need 2–3 sessions for a breakthrough, others 5–8, and some more. Even after a breakthrough, there’s often more to be gained — increasing your vagal tone — your ability to stay connected to stillness and calm, even in triggering situations.
That’s why I recommend a session package — it helps you stay committed and avoid the self-sabotage that can sometimes happen just before progress.
